The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is an intergovernmental organization established in 1951 and is committed to the principle that humane and orderly migration benefits both migrants and society.
In the framework of the European Union-funded project “EU 4 Border Security”, the IOM Mission to Moldova invites interested eligible Suppliers to submit Quotations for the supply and delivery of 9 (nine) patrol boats for the needs of the General Inspectorate of Border Police of Republic of Moldova.
The boats should be brand new, in accordance to the Technical specifications enlisted in Annex C (which is attached) and manufactured for use in Europe and to be compliant with European weather conditions. Patrol boats are destined to be used for active use on the Dniester river characterized by seasonal fluctuations of water level, rocky bottom surface and abundant river vegetation.
Terms of warranty:
Official warranty for the vessel (including the boat engine) shall be valid on the territory of Moldova without any concerns.

Information to suppliers:
The full copies of General Instructions for Suppliers (GIS) which include Technical Specifications,
Application Forms and administrative requirements as well as the Pro-Forma Agreement can be
requested by interested parties at vpanfilii@iom.int, cc nbalan@iom.int.
The language of the Quotation shall be Romanian, Russian or English and prices shall be quoted
in EUR, Delivery at Place (DAP) Chisinau (Incoterms - 2010), with VAT 0%, exemption of excise
and custom duties acc. to the Government Decision of the Republic of Moldova nr. 246 of
08.04.2010. In case other currency is offered, the comparison of offers will be based on the
prevailing IOM rate of exchange (link to the website with rates
https://treasury.un.org/operationalrates/OperationalRates.php).
The Quotation shall remain valid for a minimum period of 45 calendar days, after the deadline for
submission.
IOM shall evaluate and compare the Quotations based on the following:
(a) Compliance with technical specifications and warranty requirements.
(b) Delivery schedule.
(c) Price.
Quotation shall be submitted by e-mail at vpanfilii@iom.int, cc nbalan@iom.int on or before 9 April, 2021, 23:59 (GMT+2:00).
IOM reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all quotations at any time prior to award of Purchase Order or Contract, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Supplier/s or any obligation to inform the affected Supplier/s of the ground for IOM-s action.
