Geoscience Australia is seeking to procure approximately 50 broadband seismometers, final number will be based on total cost. The instruments will form part of the portable temporary and permanent deployments for passive seismic investigations of the Australian lithosphere. The data will be used predominantly for ambient noise and full waveform inversion tomography to image the crust and lithospheric mantle. Based on the Customers requirements the Customer may enter into contracts with one or more Suppliers Geoscience Australia requires broadband high-sensitivity seismometers with a flat response within bandwidth of approximately 100 sec for the purpose of array deployment to image the crust and lithospheric mantle using passive seismic techniques. Deployment of the passive seismic array will be for a minimum of one-year across remote Australia.
