Tender Details

Description : On 12 April 2018, Schiphol Nederland B.V awarded the C5500 Passenger Transportation Installations Contract to Schindler Liften B.V. This contract was awarded after successful completion of a tender process compliant with European Public procurement law (Tenderned ID 129253) and thereafter transferred to the main contractor of the Pier A Project. The Scope of the Works awarded to Schindler Liften BV was for 34 elevators, 29 escalators and 15 moving walkways required as part of the construction of the new Pier A at Schiphol airport. Schindler Liften B.V was required to complete the Design, supply/manufacture, Temporary Works design and Temporary Works installations, delivery, transportation, installation including all labour plants, tools and equipment, testing and commissioning, material distribution of all elevators, escalators and moving walkways. Schindler has executed a significant part of these Works. However, due to the termination of the main contractor of the Pier A Project, Schindler's Contract has come to an end. Schiphol wants these Works finished and intends to enter into a new Contract with Schindler Liften B.V for completion of the remaining works...
