The main object of the acquisition is a mailing to be prepared, printed, compiled and delivered to the eligible voter, which is called the parish election letter in this request for participation. Parish elections will be held in November 2026. Parish elections are local elections held every four years. In the elections, trustees are chosen for approximately 340 parishes. Congregations can be Finnish or Swedish-speaking or bilingual. If the parish does not belong to the parish association, one will be delivered elections to elect members of the church council. The church council manages the activities of the independent church. If the parish belongs to a parish association, two elections are held. Elections elect members to the parish council, which manages the parish's activities, and to the joint church council, which manages the parish association. There are separate lists of candidates for both elections. The same candidate can be a candidate in both elections or only in one.
