PANORMO - GARAZ ROAD STUDY The present study, in the context of the improvement and modernization of the Provincial road network of the Regional Unit of Rethymno, has as its object the Panormos-Garazou connection with a new alignment as an axis that connects the coastal with the semi-mountainous area of Mylopotamos municipality. The road section will belong to category AIII Road between provinces/settlements according to the OMOE. The length of the road section is estimated at 16 km for the connection with the settlements as well as with the local road network, it is estimated that 6 three-level level junctions and 2 four-level junctions will be formed. In this particular road section, it is estimated that there are 2 bridges approximately 120 m long, the first and 60 m. about the second.
