The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro, Calapan City, through its BIDS AND AWARDS COMMITTEE (BAC) invites PAKYAW LABOR GROUPS to apply and to bid for the supply of labor of the hereunder project:

Bidding will be conducted through an open competitive public bidding procedure as specified in the IRR-A of RA 9184, Appendix I, Revised Guidelines for the Implementation of Infrastructure Projects by Administration.
The Pakyaw Labor Contract shall be awarded through a competitive public bidding to be conducted with at least three (3) Pakyaw Labor Groups participating.
Pakyaw Labor Groups shall comply with the following requirements:
a) Not a regular licensed contractor
b) Drawn from the vicinity of the project or belong to various Barangay Associations contiguous to the project site
c) Residence Certificate (Sedula)
Unskilled labor shall be drawn from the Barangay where the project is located.
Semi-skilled labor shall be recruited within the municipality preferably within the Barangay.
Skilled labor shall be recruited within the province preferably within the Barangay /Municipalities.
Application forms and Bidding Documents are available at the BAC Office, Provincial Capitol, Complex, Calapan City c/o BAC Secretariat starting on October 23, 2019 upon payment of a non-refundable amount of Php 500.00 to the Provincial Treasurer-s Office, Calapan City pursuant to Provincial Ordinance No. 009-2009 OF Revised Revenue Code of Oriental Mindoro.
All particulars related to Bid Security, Evaluation of Bids and Award of Contract shall be governed by the pertinent provisions of RA. 9184 and its IRR.
The Provincial Government of Oriental Mindoro reserves the right to accept or reject any Bid, and to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract of award without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidders.
