The UCalgary is seeking a proven and mature package tracking system software and associated wireless devices to allow its Distribution Services team to move incoming shipments efficiently and effectively to valued clients across Campuses. Project Objectives: Remain up to date with current package tracking software and associated wireless devices and functionalities. Continue to increase operational efficiency and reduce operational costs. Select a vendor who provides flexibility and ability to add/ change functionality at a minimal cost. Provide and necessary training to the end users, system administrators and technical administrators. Ensure software functionality is consistent with regular business hours, 7 am - 5 pm MST, Monday to Friday. Utilize wireless barcode scanners and delivery handheld technology to continue operational efficiency.The UCalgary is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide a proven and mature solution for package tracking system. The intention of the RFP is to award to a Proponent who submits a proposal which, in the sole opinion of UCalgary represents the best overall functionality and value.The software is required to be hosted (Software as a Service - SaaS) preferred in a public cloud (UCalgary-s preference - AWS, Azure, Google or a public cloud vendor with a network peering relation to CANARIE network: https://www.canarie.ca/network/services/cds/
