This Request for Proposals is to prospective Proponents to submit Proposals for the Supply of Battery Electric Paratransit Buses for TTC's Wheel-Trans Group. Wheel-Trans provides over 4 million door-to-door, specialized transit trips each year in the City of Toronto and supports over 42, 000 registered customers eligible to receive such specialized services. The City of Toronto-s TransformTO Net Zero Strategy defines a pathway to achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions in Toronto by 2040. To adhere to this pathway, the TTC, through this RFP, is planning to procure up to 10 zero-emissions battery-electric Wheel-Trans vehicles from multiple vendors.
