Quotation are invited for Overhaul an 8 Cylinder Caterpillar Generator - Rev 00.
Overhaul an 8 cylinder caterpillar generator model: 3608 The Contractor shall separate alternator from engine. Dismantle turbocharger, exhaust pipes and all parts from top to bottom up to the crankshaft. Reassemble all new and old parts for the generator including turbocharger and exhaust pipes. All new parts will be provided by AUB. Duration of work should be 5 weeks. Contractor should visit the Power Plant before submitting his offers. Contractor to secure on a daily basis at least 3 diesel mechanics and one expert diesel mechanic with at least 20 years* experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul generator sets. CV of the expert diesel mechanic should be provided with the offer. The expert should attend every day and participate in the overhaul. Tools should be provided by the Contractor. Contactor should provide a three months warranty on the operation of the engine.
