The procurement is carried out as a joint procurement (a so-called procurement ring), in which the municipalities of Kirkkonummi, Nurmijärvi, Tuusula and Vihti participate. In this bidding process, aerial photography is tendered and a color orthophoto mosaic is produced from the photography and color infrared orthoimage mosaic for the areas of four municipalities in spring 2026. The terrain resolution of the ordered orthoimage mosaic is GSD 5 cm and GSD 10 cm. The purpose is that the Kirkkonummi municipality area of 438 km2 is produced with a terrain resolution of GSD 10 cm and Nurmijärvi, Tuusula and Vihti municipal areas of 134.5 km2 are produced GDS 5 cm. The total area of the areas to be photographed is 572.5 km2. It should be noted that the filming area may change or be reduced in some respects, if the Defense Forces forbid filming restricted areas. Chosen the supplier takes care of obtaining the necessary aerial photography permits. For the production of orthophoto mosaics, the areas must be photographed at a time when the snow has melted in the areas of the municipalities to be photographed, but the leaves are not yet on the trees. Aerial photography must be carried out with an aerial imaging camera designed for accurate photogrammetric imaging. Color orthoimage mosaic and color infrared orthoimage mosaic of the areas must be submitted in the ETRS-GK25 coordinate system and for Vihti in the ETRS-GK24 coordinate system. The image format is Tiff, ECW and Jpeg2000 and as positioning files tfw, tab, ers and jgw.
