The Outback Regional Roads & Transport Group (ORRTG) is a cooperative governance arrangementbetween the Department of Transport and Main Roads (DTMR) Central West Region and the localgovernment areas of Barcaldine Regional Council, Barcoo Shire Council, Blackall-Tambo Regional Council, Boulia Shire Council, Diamantina Shire Council, Longreach Regional Council and Winton Shire Council. As an initiative of the Roads Alliance, which incorporates DTMR and the Local Government AssociationQueensland (LGAQ), the ORRTG was formed to develop and coordinate the management of the LocalRoads of Regional Significance in their region.
