The city of Kotka requests bids for order times in accordance with the request for bids and its appendices. The procurement covers the Order Rides driven with a passenger license, with possible additional services. Order times refer to parallel or round-trip local transportation, such as school swimming pool and field trip transportation as well as empty trips of city units, etc. The contract does not include separately tendered school transportation (incl. basic education and pre-school education) or business taxi services. In procurement it is a case of other joint procurement pursuant to Section 21 of the Procurement Act, where the city of Kotka, the city of Hamina and the municipality of Pyhtää (procurement units) have agreed to carry out a single procurement together. Procurement preparation, tendering, decision-making and the city of Kotka is responsible for signing procurement contracts and contract monitoring (in the background, the agreement between the procurement units on the regional road transport competent authority and the regional passenger transport unit).
