Invitation to prequalification for notice of intent (noi)2017010227optoelectronic plethysmography system for the analysis of breathing mechanics.this is to inform you that the university of british columbia (ubc; university) intends to purchase from bts bioengineering corp, quincy, ma, usa, one (1) optoelectronic plethysmography system for the analysis of breathing mechanics.the requested infrastructure (bts oep system) is the only available system that permits measurement of the abdominal-thoracic wall, total volume and pulmonary volume changes on a breath by breath basis and that fills the ubc requirements. The device permits the assessment of the respiratory musculature under physiologically relevant conditions such as dynamic exercise.
