The works are mainly related to improving agricultural roads. In particular, the intersections are damaged by heavy agricultural traffic, which leads to subsidence of the pavement and the erosion of canals. To tackle this problem, the affected zones are completely excavated locally, including the removal of existing pavements and foundations. A new road structure is then constructed, consisting of foundations, an asphalt underlay, adhesive layer and top layer. Where If necessary, edge reinforcements are provided in reinforced cement concrete paving, with widths of 30 cm, 50 cm or 100 cm. Subsequently, if the canals have subsided, they will be reprofiled in order to restore good drainage. These interventions aim to: to strengthen the structural structure of the roads, increase sustainability and improve road safety, with special attention to agricultural traffic.
