This is contract will be for a statewide Drinking Water Certified Operator Training Program for the purpose of providing continuing education units (CEU) to the states certified operators.The Contractor will develop a Waterworks Operator Continuing Education Training Program that will be geographically distributed throughout the State of Mississippi, covering subjectmatters directly related to the duties and responsibilities of water operators. The subject matter will consist of the necessary technical topics needed to effectively maintain a watersystem, and also include other topics related to water system operation. The Contractor will make all arrangements related to conducting the statewide training program to include, but not limited to, conducting twelve (12) one-day (six (6) or seven (7) hours per session) trainings statewide. MSDHs Bureau of Public Water Supply will have input in the selection oftopics and speakers for CEU classes. The Contractor will provide all training aids (audiovisual, etc.) required for the training program, which includes all necessary trainingequipment for instructors such as video projectors, projection screens, computers, white boards, etc. The Contractor will make all necessary local arrangements for each trainingsession to include rental space, when necessary. The Contractor will establish and provide an approved advertising program for notifying water operators and water system officials ofscheduled training sessions. The Contractor will provide MSDH Bureau of Public Water Supply with monthly reports of activities conducted under this contract. The report willinclude, but not be limited to, details of training sessions conducted, number of attendees, and related problems that occurred during or as part of the training session and thesolution.
