Kaakkois-Suomen ammattikorkeakoulu Oy (later Xamk) requests an offer for the implementation of a future-oriented pilot program involving Xamk's R&D staff, companies in Kymenlaakso and actors of the regional development ecosystem. in accordance with. The customer of the service is the KymiCatalyst project. The project strengthens the innovation capacity of the Kymenlaakso region, the renewal of companies and the region's vitality. The project is managed by Southeastern Finland University of Applied Sciences Xamk and the project will be implemented between January 1, 2026 and June 30, 2026. The project is financed by the Kymenlaakso union. The goal of the procurement is to pilot an operating model involving actors attached to Kymenlaakso's R&D ecosystem, which will result in 3-5 solution concepts connected to the global digital theme development challenges. The operating model involves Kymenlaakso's R&D operators and companies and helps them identify international forces of change, as well as their effects on their own strategy. Arrangements will be made for the piloting of the operating model by the provider two-day development event in Kouvola, February 18-19. For the development event, Kymenlaakso's R&D operators, as well as regional expertise from companies and developer organizations, will be brought together. Regional development work and expertise of different operators are linked to internationally relevant challenges, to which the multidisciplinary teams formed in the pilot facilitate solutions.
