Open house model: klimaaktiv mobile cycling courses klimaaktiv mobil is an initiative of the Federal Ministry for Innovation, Mobility and Infrastructure (BMIMI) in the mobility sector. One of the goals of klimaaktiv mobil is to promote the use of bicycles Austria as part of the “Mobility management for educational and youth institutions” program. Since mobility habits develop in childhood, klimaaktiv mobil supports children through cycling courses in gaining cycling skills and enjoyment to develop on cycling. klimaaktiv mobil cycling courses can be taken from primary schools (i.e. primary schools and special schools up to and including the 4th grade) as well as from schools with secondary level 1 (5th to 8th grade) throughout Austria klimaaktiv mobil registered cycling school can be booked. The costs of a klimaaktiv mobil cycling course will be paid by klimaaktiv mobil and for each class from grades 1 to 8 once per school year at the school's request according to the announced cost schedule taken over in accordance with available budget resources. Interested cycling schools that meet the registration requirements are invited to submit an application for registration.
