According to the UNOPS Procurement Manual (section 11.5) a GAP is a written agreement between UNOPS and a supplier, a GAP is established for a defined period of time for clearly specified goods/supplies or quantifiable services at fixed prices or rates. While there is no legal obligation to order a maximum or minimum quantity from the supplier, GAPs typically include a delivery plan or other date that the supplier must respect.
