1Maintenance works will include construction works consisting in filling in defects in the surface, maintaining them in good technical condition, protecting them against too rapid wear, while maintaining their current purpose. The works are aimed at maintaining roads in good technical and operational condition. Construction works will be carried out in sections or in spots in places where there are defects, potholes or ruts. 2The material scope is determined by the bill of quantities, the overhead cost estimate, and the work technology is determined by the specification technical execution and acceptance of works. Maintenance includes: a. cleaning the repaired area (removing dirt, chips, mud, sod) along with transporting or spreading it outside the road crown, b. possible cutting of sod/topsoil from the surface dear, c. loosening the surface in the place of a defect/sink or rut to a depth of up to 10 cm using the rippers of a grader or a recycler, d. possible re-profiling of the road surface, e. mechanical profiling and compaction of the existing one pavement, f. leveling the surface with a mixture of crushed aggregate with a grain size of 0-63 mm, an average thickness of 20 cm, filling the gaps...
