Tender are invited for STATEMENT OF WORK1.0 Contract TitleOld Perlican CCG SAR Facility -Snow Clearing & Ice Control Services.2.0 Contract Period & Hours of WorkSnow removal and de-icing will be carried out Twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. The quoted rates will be in effect for the entire period of time.3.0 Location of Work99-103 Marine Dr., Old Perlican, NLGeographical coordinates: 48°05-12.12” N, 53°00-28.1” W4.0 Background StatementLocated at 99-103 Marine Drive, in Old Perlican, NL, This CCG Lifeboat Station was opened in 2020, andwas a welcome addition to the community. This facility consists of a two‐storey wood‐framed SAR Operations Building (405m2 total) and a 2‐bay FRC Boat Storage Building (230m2). The first level of the SAR Operations Building houses office space, radio/operations room, kitchen, living room and other support space. The second level houses staff accommodations. Lifeboat stations are staffed 24‐7 seasonally on a rotational basis.General Building Information (applies to both buildings):General construction: Structural steel frame, concrete floors, exterior insulation and sprayfoam insulation, and wood sidinghigh performance, durable building envelope designed to resist extreme weather conditionsexperienced on site (high winds, salt water laden air)the new buildings have a sprinkler system (existing building did not)new septic system serving both buildingsnew emergency generator system able to support full building load and fuel sup...
