Detailed_Description : The Office of the Fire Marshal is the employer for the Northern Fire Protection Program. The program has over 800 volunteer firefighters serving 48 different rural communities across Northern Ontario. The Office of the Fire Marshal is responsible for equipping its firefighters with personal protective equipment (PPE) such as Firefighter Structural Helmets and associated warranty services.
Scope of Work : The Ministry requires Firefighter Structural Helmets to provide protection during structural firefighting operations where there is a threat of fire, or when certain physical hazards are likely to be encountered during non-fire related rescue operations, emergency medical operations, and victim extrication.The Firefighter Structural Helmets must meet all the NFPA standards and spécifications outlined in the RFB.All components of each Deliverable shall be new. Demonstration models, used, refurbished or prototype Deliverables will not be accepted
