Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE

Marine Corps Logistics Base, Albany GA has a requirement for up to 1, 000 man-hours per year to disassemble, assemble, de-install, relocate, install, and/or dispose of furniture currently owned, in use, or in the possession of the government. This includes moving/ staging furniture and pre-packed office supplies from various facilities/ locations to the new location as directed by the government. Typical items include, but are not limited to, modular furniture, partition panels, file cabinets, safes, shelving, desks, chairs, and various types of cabinets. The government will pack all non-furniture items prior to the contractor's arrival. The contractor will be responsible for moving and staging the packed items at the new location as directed by the government representative.

It is the Government-s intent to issue a firm-fixed price contract. The proposed acquisition will be 100% small business set-aside. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 484210- Used Household and Office Goods Moving. The Government will solicit and award this contract in accordance with FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition Procedures).

The Solicitation (M6700125Q1090) will be posted on or about 5 days after this posting is made available on the Contract Opportunities portal located at https://www.sam.gov/.
