Purpose of the competition: The Saudi Water Authority intends, through its phased operation arm for water desalination, to launch a competition to implement a project to extract, issue and renew environmental licenses and certificates for the Yanbu water desalination system, in line with the strategic direction of the authority and in line with the objectives of Vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030. This project comes based on the Authority's adoption of an environmental management system in accordance with local and international standards and requirements, with the aim of raising the level of environmental compliance and enhancing compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.
