The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is a Special Health Authority and an Arm's Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care. We provide a range of critical central services to NHS Organisations (our 'clients'), NHS contractors, health bodies, patients and the public (our 'customers'). The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is undertaking a strategic initiative to modernise its data visualisation capabilities by transitioning from Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Microsoft Power BI. This migration is part of a broader effort to enhance accessibility, interactivity, and alignment with NHSBSA's data visualisation standards. The dashboards and reports currently hosted on OAC/OBIEE primarily utilise Prescriptions and Dental datasets, and vary in complexity, from simple tabular reports to highly interactive dashboards with advanced filtering and drill-down capabilities. At this stage, high-level input from suitable suppliers is required to allow the NHSBSA to assess the market and to inform any future procurement strategy, ensuring compliance with The Procurement Act 2023 and/or the Public Contract Regulations 2015 as the case maybe.
