Tender Details

Detailed_Description : The objective of this RFB is to invite prospective Bidders to submit Bids for the provision of nylon duty belts, components and accessories for use by correctional officers in the various Ministry of the Solicitor General facilities and officers in the various Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) facilities throughout the Province of Ontario on an as-and-when required basis. The Preferred Bidder shall be required to enter into separate agreements with each of (i) Ministry of the Solicitor General and (ii) MCCSS for the provision of the Deliverables in the form attached in Part 2 - Form of Agreement for this RFB. Any rights or obligations of the Ministry that are set out in the RFB are, in the case of the Agreement, rights or obligations of each of Ministry of the Solicitor General and MCCSS under their respective agreement with the Vendor.

Scope of Work : The items required are set out in the following three (3) categories: Category 1: Inner and Outer Duty belt•Item 1: outer duty belt with Velcro® or equivalent fastener lining;•Item 2: inner duty belt; Category 2: Components and Accessories•Item 3: two and one-quarter inches (2 ¼”) moulded belt keepers; •Item 4: single handcuff case;•Item 5: handcuff key holder; •Item 6: MK-3 size nylon holder;•Item 7: MK-4 size nylon holder; •Item 8: MK-4 size nylon holder closed loop system•Item 9: MK-9 size nylon holder.Category 3: Baton Holders•Item 10: Baton holder 21”•Item 11: Baton holder 26”The Preferred Bidder shall be required to enter into separate agreements with each of (i) Ministry of the Solicitor General and (ii) MCCSS for the provision of the Deliverables in the form attached in Part 2 - Form of Agreement for this RFB.
