Description: The overall purpose of the NWD program is to increase nursing education opportunities for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds (including racial and ethnic minorities underrepresented among registered nurses). The purpose of this NOFO is to strengthen the eldercare workforce in rural communities where there are health care disparities related to access and delivery of care through the expansion of these opportunities for students from disadvantaged backgrounds.
