Tender Details

The City of Anaheim (\"Anaheim\") Fire and Rescue (\"AF&R\") seeks proposals from qualified Nurse Practitioners to hire multiple, part-time Nurse Practitioners to be a part of the Advanced Provider Response Unit (APRU) expanded Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) initiative. The proposed compensation for each part-time Nurse Practitioner is set between $100 to $115 per hour, reflecting the scope of responsibilities and the level of expertise required. Anaheim Fire & Rescue is launching an expanded Mobile Integrated Health (MIH) initiative aimed at addressing opioid use disorder and behavioral health challenges through a proactive, community-based care model. The program pairs Nurse Practitioners with Paramedics to deliver field-based medical services including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), post-overdose follow-ups, and rapid connections to long-term health and social services. This innovative project leverages national opioid settlement resources to bring evidence-based practices directly to individuals in need, often outside of traditional emergency and hospital systems. Consultants will support the deployment and coordination of mobile clinical teams, data tracking systems, naloxone distribution, and interagency referrals, ensuring high-quality care and measurable outcomes. By participating in this initiative, consultants have an opportunity to collaborate on a forward-thinking public health strategy that reduces opioid-related harm, improves patient engagement, and builds a sustainable infrastructure for integrated care delivery in Anaheim.
