Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W91ZLK20Q0012 and the solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2020-04. This requirement is being solicited as a Full an Open Competition among business concerns represented by NAICS code 611430. This procurement is in accordance with FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, Solicitation W91ZLK20Q0012 and the ATTACHED Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Government contemplates an award of a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Purchase Order and will evaluate based on the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offeror. Period of performance is a base and two (2) option years.
Description of the Requirement: The Army Contracting Command-Aberdeen Proving Ground Tenant Division (ACC-APG TD) in support of the U.S. Army HQ, 20th CBRNE Command Nuclear Disablement Team (NDT), intends to procure Nuclear Reactor Operator training support. The contractor shall design and execute a five-day (40 hour) Nuclear Reactor Operator training course to instruct and familiarize NDT personnel with reactor plant control room operations, identify the most important safety and plant parameters with related indicators and controls, and adjust controls as necessary to maintain the plant in a safe condition. In addition, this course shall include topics such as accident analysis, severe accident management, Pressurized Water Reactor (PWR) and Boiling Water Reactor (BWR) operations.
