Nuclear liability insurance for 2027 Nuclear liability insurance for 2027 CXVI of 1996 on nuclear energy. law requires MVM Paksi Atomerömű Zrt. as licensee (Insured) that "the licensee is obliged to comply with Section 52 (1) take care of insurance or other financial cover up to the amount of nuclear damage liability according to paragraph ". MVM Paksi Atomerőmű Zrt. has liability insurance until 24:00 on December 31, 2026, therefore, as a licensee, it is obliged to take care of the 2027. on liability insurance for the year. Nuclear liability insurance for the year 2027: The compensation limit is 100, 000, 000 SDR per insurance event and 125, 000, 000 SDR per insurance period.
