The scope of this EOI is to help ANSTO establish a panel of specialist design and construction contractors capable of designing, manufacturing, and delivering nuclear-grade gloveboxes, along with a range of related systems and equipment which enable the safe handling, processing, and characterization of special nuclear materials according to contemporary standards. ANSTO is in the process of developing a multiyear strategy for our alpha assets, we intend to conduct a two-staged process of selecting appropriate contractors via an expression of interest, followed by approaching the shortlisted proponents with a draft scope of works and technical criteria (SWTC) and a request for quotation (RFQ) for the first of many nuclear grade gloveboxes.
