(MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the NSY Alt Dock Scour Pad Upgrades Project.The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal site in North Sydney, Nova Scotia.The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Perform a diver-assisted pre-construction survey of the scour pad area sufficient to confirm pad limits, orientation, top-of-pad elevations, seabed elevations, and obstructions. Submit an as-found sketch and survey notes identifying any discrepancies from the Contract Drawings and obtain Owner-s Representative direction prior to proceeding. Coordinate with the Assistant Terminal Manager (ATM) on-site to remove existing damaged scour pads within the defined repair footprint as specified on the drawings according to the on-site safety program. Dispose the scour pads and concrete blocks collected from the harbour floor to designated disposal site, complying with site specific environmental protection plan. Place clear stone material in scoured / undermined area to provide a level surface for new precast concrete scour pads to be placed.
