This is a public synopsis of a forthcoming solicitation in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. This is NOT a solicitation, and no solicitation documents are currently publicly available.
This pre-solicitation notice is for Solicitation Number 36C24226B0055 Project Number 632-26-109 for the Replace Campus Fire Hydrants Number 11, 22, 27, 36 and 42 project at Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768.
This project will be 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). Competition for this procurement is restricted to verified SERVICE- DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS (SDVOSB) Contractors. The SDVOSB must be a small business under the relevant NAICS code and must be registered and verified in SBA s Small Business Search and https://www.sam.gov.
The NAICS code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, size standard: $45million. IAW VAAR 852.219-10 the VIP listed SDVOSB. Prospective Contractor will not pay more than 85% of the amount paid by the government to the prime for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to firms that are not VIP-listed SDVOBs. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $500, 000 and $1.000, 000.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) seeks a qualified contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, tools, testing, and incidentals required to replace fire hydrants, valves, install new underground fire suppression pipeline, relocate one hydrant, and perform associated site restoration at the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. All work shall be performed in accordance with applicable manufacturer specifications, VA design guidelines, and NFPA requirements.
