Notification of Intent to Issue a Sole Source Award
This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive proposals. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Sigonella Italy-Naples (FLCSI-N) intends to award a sole source contract to the incumbent contractor, Telecom Italia SRL (TIM), for the continuation of critical IT services to support fiber optic lines between Capodichino, Lago Patria, and Gricignano, Italy. The period of performance will be 1 April 2026 - 31 March 2027.
The statutory authority permitting this restriction of competition is FAR 12.102(a). The incumbent contractor, TIM, is located at Via Gaetano Negri 1, Milano Italy, 20123 and is the only known source capable of providing the required services.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, interested parties may express their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than the closing date of this notification. Any response to this notification must show clear evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. No reimbursement for any cost associated with providing capability information will be provided.
The decision to proceed with the sole source contract is at the sole discretion of the Government.
