Sewage & Waste Water Systems; Construction, Upgrade & Repair

Summary Details:
The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) anticipates that the following procurement will be released in the near future per the details below. This scope and schedule are tentative and subject to change at the CVRD's discretion.
This notice does not:
- Commit the CVRD to issue the procurement,
- Restrict the CVRD to the particular procurement approach listed,
- Constitute a call for proposals; or
- Create any contractual or other legal obligation owed to any potential supplier by the CVRD
Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Design-Build Project Scope of work to include:
- Upgrades to two (2) sanitary pump stations.
- Construction of a new sanitary pump station
- Installation of approximately 3.7 km of cut-and-cover large-diameter HDPE sanitary sewer pipe.
- Installation of approximately 1.2 km of Horizontal Directional Drilled (HDD) large-diameter HDPE sanitary sewer pipe.
Anticipated RFQ release: February 2022
Anticipated RFP period: March-August 2022
Anticipated design, construction and commissioning period: September 2022 - September 2024
