The national institute of standards and technology (nist) acquisition management division, intends to negotiate with formfactor beaverton, inc., located in beaverton, oregon on a sole source basis under the authority of far subpart 13.106-1(b), soliciting from a single source, for new probe station positioners for wafer probes which shall be compatible with existing cascade microtech summit 11000 probe station.
Specific requirements for probe station are as follows:
one (1) each probe station positioner, east position
one (1) each probe station positioner, west position
two (2) each wafer infinity probe
minimum specifications:
probe station positioner:
- formfactor model number 133-525 mmw positioner for 200 mm stations, manual, west position.
- formfactor model number 133-528 mmw positioner for 200 mm stations, manual, east position
- positioners shall be compatible with cascade microtech (now formfactor) model summit 11000 manual wafer probe station including top hat.
- all positioners shall be compatible with large-area millimeter-wave frequency-extender heads
- all positioners shall bolt down onto the probe station
- all hardware required for mounting positioners on the probe station shall be included.
Wafer probe:
- formfactor model number i110-a-gsg-50 infinity probe
- microwave wafer probes shall employ lithographic thin-film construction to reduce unwanted couplings to nearby devices and transmission modes.
- microwave wafer probes shall produce scrub marks that are less than 10mm in width
