The New York District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers intends to award a sole source firm fixed contract Syncrolift for a firm fixed price contract for preventative maintenance on the Boatlift at Syncrolift. Syncrolift is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the equipment. As the OEM they have the capability to provide genuine OEM parts and service, with any rebuilt components conforming to Syncrolift dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. The Boatlift is located at the Corps facility, Caven Point Marine Terminal, located in Jersey City, New Jersey. This is not a formal solicitation or request for proposal. This notice of intent is to give notice of the Government's intent to make a sole source award under the authority cited in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1- Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Any vendor wishing to propose an alternative source must provide a copy of all relevant data demonstrating the alternative source satisfies the above requirements, by the required due date and time, to Matthew Lubiak at: matthew.e.lubiak@usace.army.mil.
