THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES. A DETERMINATION NOT TO COMPETE THE PROPOSED PROCUREMENT BASED UPON RESPONSES TO THIS NOTICE IS SOLELY WITHIN THE DISCRETION OF THE GOVERNMENT.
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) Contracting Office (Code 400), hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole-source, firm fixed service contract to RAYCO ELECTRONICS SYSTEM LTD. The contract is expected to be awarded under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The period of performance shall be from approximately 3 August 2026 to 7 August 2026.
INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - Service contract to provide calibration technical support for Crane 92s LMI equipment.
RAYCO ELECTRONICS SYSTEM LTD is the genuine manufacturer of i4500 series system sole and only authorized to repair RaycoWylie Systems products. RAYCO ELECTRONICS SYSTEM LTD is the only company with access to performance resources to maintain the original operating specifications for i4500 series systems. RAYCO ELECTRONICS SYSTEM LTD Certified Technicians are the only trained technicians available to service the equipment.
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) has been determined to be 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a small business size standard of $34 Million. The Product Service Code for this acquisition is J052 Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild Of Equipment- Measuring Tools. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; no solicitation or RFP will be forthcoming.
