The National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR), intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed-price purchase order as a Total Small Business Set-Aside to:
Corinne M. Goldsmith, Inc. (Small Business)
This requirement is for specialized Senior Biologist services in support of the Sjögren-s Disease Biomarkers Consortium. The contractor will provide biospecimen logistics support, including sample intake, tracking, transport, FFPE block management, tissue microarray (TMA) coordination, and maintenance of audit-ready documentation necessary for multi-omic analyses.
Period of Performance:
Base Year: April 9, 2026 - April 8, 2027
Option Year 1: April 9, 2027 - April 8, 2028
Option Year 2: April 9, 2028 - April 8, 2029
The Government intends to award on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), as only one responsible source is reasonably available. The identified small business contractor possesses unique qualifications, including extensive project-specific experience, established biospecimen workflows, and the ability to perform immediately without disruption to ongoing research.
This procurement is being conducted as a Total Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with FAR Part 19.
