Sciex is the OEM of existing MS instruments. The software that controls these instruments is copyrighted and proprietary to AB SCIEX. AB Sciex is the only authorized provider of the instrument control software and updates or upgrades. Sciex is also the only source to replace Analyst software with OS software as they have no authorized reseller for this software. Lastly, all software must be fully compatible with the existing MS instruments.
This special notice is not a solicitation for competitive quotes, nor will one be posted on Contract Opportunities. However, if an interested party believes that it is capable of meeting the requirements and be in compliance with the above justification, they may submit substantiating documentation in writing within the open period of this notice.
