NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE:
This notice is being published in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract and is not a request for competitive quotes/proposals. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity Healthcare Contracting Division, Southeast (DHACA-HCD-SE) is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to inform industry contractors of the Government-s intent to execute a Sole Source contract under RFO FAR 6.103-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
This notice satisfies posting requirements at FAR Part 5.101. The intended contractor is Ivoclar Vivadent, Incorporated, who is identified as a sole proprietor. The place of delivery/service is U.S. Army Dental Laboratory, Eisenhower Army Medical Center, 300 E Hospital Rd Bldg, 322, Fort Gordon, Georgia. This requirement is for a non-personal services contract with a performance period consisting of a one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods. The contractor shall provide installation, delivery, and preventative and corrective maintenance support for the PrograMill PM7 Dental Milling System.
The contractor shall accomplish the installation of the base system and its scope of delivery (including the PrograMill Suction Unit, CAM software, PC/Monitor, and all associated accessories). Following installation, the contractor shall provide ongoing maintenance to ensure the machine can accurately dry mill zirconia, polymethylmethacrylates (resins), and wax to fabricate inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, and complete dentures.
The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to deliver, install, and maintain PrograMill 7 Dental Mill...
