Description:

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items. The ACC-APG Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source contract to Dytran Instruments Inc. (Cage Code 2W033, Large Business)

The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC), Tenant Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), 6472 Integrity Court, Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005 has a requirement to procure the following:

Dytran Sensor Accelerometer Requirements:



The accelerometer is a device that senses motion. The requirements for this purchase order are for the quantity of twenty (20) accelerometers that sense motion in 3 axes, a tri-axial accelerometer, with a +/-40g measurement range and the quantity of twenty (20) accelerometers that sense motion in 3 axes, a tri-axial accelerometer, with a +/-50g measurement range. The sensor converts movement to an electrical signal proportional to the acceleration of the movement. The models requested use variable capacitance technology to achieve a low-end frequency response of zero (0).
