Notice of Intent for Sole Source
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Research Triangle Park (RTP) in Durham, North Carolina intends to award, on a sole source basis, and in accordance with RFO 6.103-1(b), a contract to AB SCIEX LLC for a Protective Equipment Maintenance Agreement (EMA) for the QTRAP 6500+ Mass Spectrometer. This procurement is recommended to be processed without full and open competition.
EPA-s Office of Chemical Safety and Pollution Prevention (OCSPP) Office of Mission Critical Operations, Risk Assessment Support Division-s Laboratory is needing a Protective EMA for the QTRAP 6500+ Mass Spectrometer, which is needed to ensure proper equipment performance and reliability. This instrument is vital to generate data for many aspects of OCSPP-s mission to gain knowledge about chemicals and their associated effects on human health and the environment.
The AB SCIEX LLC Protective EMA for the QTRAP 6500+ Mass Spectrometer shall include:
