This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for environmental water and sediment sampling, analysis and reporting use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Green Country Testing, has the technical ability to ensure a uniform data quality of repeat sample events, sampling data consistency and continuity of laboratory methods and equipment, method detection limits and analysis of sampling data for continued laboratory services, with approved contractor already in place for state required reporting. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1.

This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
