Description
This notice is in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 5.2.The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 09, hereby provides notice of its intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract for the product/service listed below to a self-certified small, disadvantaged business, Monarch Medical Technologies, LLC, headquarters out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The contract is expected to be awarded under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) - Soliciting from a single source. A Sole Source Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. The anticipated award date is no later than 07-30-2025.The contractor will provide the product/service listed below to the place of performance listed on the cover page of this notice.This solution is the Annual Software Subscription License for EndoTool Intravenous (IV) software system for insulin dosing. EndoTool IV insulin dosing software improves patient outcomes and nursing workflow while eliminating potential dosing errors and hypoglycemia. EndoTool is an FDA medical device which provides precision insulin dosing recommendations, leverages machine learning by adapting to each patient-s unique physiology based on 10-12 patient factors and predicting patient responses based on historical trending. EndoTool interfaces with the hospital-s EMR for seamless workflows and will be able to be used with the Cerner whenever that upgrade takes place.Market research was able to identify domestic commercial products that can meet this requirement. Research shows that the software is manufactured/ published by Monarch Medical Technologies for the insulin dosing EndoTool Intravenous (IV) software system. The proprietary technology of Monarch Medical-s EndoTool IV software to model, predict, and adapt each patient-s insulin therapy regiment with the quality of results that James H.
