Summary Details:
Russ Parks - BICYCLE REPAIR
Notice is hereby given by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General of its intent to contract with Russ Parks to provide bicycle maintenance training courses and bicycle repair instruction to inmates incarcerated at the Surrey Pretrial Services Centre.
These services include the provision of four bicycle maintenance training courses. Each course will have a maximum of 5 inmates and consist of 24 hours instruction. The Contractor will provide all course materials for participants. This includes texts, graduation or participation certificates.
Russ Parks will provide bicycle repair instruction to inmates employed to repair bicycles for the REC for Kids programme which is a non-profit organization that gives bicycles to under privileged children in the community.
The term of the contract will be from April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022 and upon written agreement may be renewed or extended for no more than two one-year terms. The value of the contract will not exceed $22, 100 annually unless otherwise agreed to by both parties to the Agreement.
The Ministry of Justice has chosen not to call for proposals as Russ Parks is currently involved in providing bicycle maintenance training and bicycle repair instruction to inmates in the Victoria area. We would like t...
