Tender are invited for The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF) proposes to resurface the Richardson Highway from Milepost 15 to 18. Project work will include vegetation clearing and grubbing, ditching, signage and guardrail replacement, striping and bridge work to include maintenance. The project will improve roadway performance and maintain safe travel.Material sites that will be made available for contractor use include Sheep Creek Pit (MS 71-1-028-5), Lowe River Quarry (MS 71-1-050-5), 12 Mile Pit (MS 71-1-040-5) and MS 71-1-032-5.We are currently working on conceptual designs, engineering, and environmental studies, as well as soliciting public comments.
