The U.S. Department of State (DOS), U.S. Embassy Singapore, intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract on a sole source basis to IMCS Construction Pte Ltd pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting from a Single Source, as the Contracting Officer has determined that only one source is reasonably available to meet the Government's requirements within the required timeframe.
This notice is not a request for competitive quotations or proposals. However, all responsible sources that believe they can satisfy the Government's requirements may submit a capability statement for consideration by the Government.
Requirement
The U.S. Embassy Singapore requires repair, refurbishment, overhaul, testing, commissioning, and restoration of the existing Bavak Vehicle Gate Systems located at the Front and Rear Controlled Access Checkpoints (CACs).
The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, tools, transportation, materials (excluding Government-furnished replacement components), and technical expertise necessary to restore the systems to full operational capability.
The required services include, but are not limited to:
Inspection and troubleshooting of gate systems;
Repair and replacement of gate hinges, bearings, rack-and-pinion assemblies, guarding rails, and associated mechanical components;
Replacement and repair of underground power and control cables;
Repair and restoration of safety buffer systems;
Mechanical and electrical repairs;
Functional testing and commissioning; and
Integration with the Embassy's existing vehicle access control and perimeter security systems.
The estimated value of this acquisition is approximately $47, 800.
