Notice Reference Number: PS-CD-26-0012 1. Synopsis: This synopsis is in accordance with FAR Part 5, Notice of Intent to award a sole source requirement. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. This is not a solicitation or request for offers. No solicitation package is available, and email requests will not be honored. Only one (1) responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. 2. Background: The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a sole source contract to the contractor, American College of Surgeons (ACS) to provide Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course materials, instructor support, logistics, and certification for DHA personnel as prescribed by the ACS. The ATLS is a globally recognized training program developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) to standardize the initial management of trauma patients. This training is essential for preparing military healthcare providers to deliver trauma care in both deployed and garrison environments, particularly in support of Role 2 and Role 3 medical operations. The Defense Medical Readiness Training Institute (DMRTI) delivers this training to maintain clinical readiness for medical personnel supporting combatant commands and contingency operations. 3. Description: This contractor shall provide military healthcare professionals with access to ATLS courses as prescribed by the ACS.
