Description

The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL hereby gives notice of its INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT to Leonardo Helicopters for procurement of Primus Epic Flight Management System (FMS) software in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR) for Maxwell-Gunter Air Force Base, Alabama

All materials, labor, tools, and transportation needed to furnish the following:

This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.301-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement.



This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action to Leonardo Helicopters. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE OR PROPOSAL. The Government has a need for Leonardo helicopters to provide Flight Simulation Management Training to the instructors and student pilots on the AW/MH-139 Primus Epic Flight Management System (FMS) and the advanced automation features on an AW/MH-139 for the 908 AW/MH-139 formal training unit (FTU) at Maxwell AFB.

Period of Performance: One time installation/training.

Therefore, Leonardo Helicopters. is the only known company that can satisfy the Government-s requirement.
