The city of Vantaa's transition to information model-based planning and construction requires a site management system so that new working methods can be used and get the best possible benefit from it. For this purpose, the Infrakit system has been piloted in the city's project construction. Experiences of the system have been very good at managing construction production. The system has also been tested in monitoring the city's strategic goals in terms of productivity and responsibility. In the future, the plan is to pilot the system also in building quality assurance and a situational picture for improvement. The Infrakit system has also been put into use by the alliances in the Vantaa city hall. The preparation for the tender for the labor management system has started in early 2025 together with the information management and procurement center. The IT administration has prepared the service descriptions and system requirements for bidding. The bidding will probably start in the beginning of 2026. In order to secure and develop the expertise of the Streets and Parks service area, it is important to continue using the system without interruption during this interim phase. For now, the Infrakit system is the only hardware and design software independent site management system on the market, and there is no substitute service on the market that can achieve a similar result.
